About Us
Riparian's founder, Kit Kohler, began his career as a Commercial Producer making local TV commercials at CBS13/CW31. Seeking career growth, he moved to the San Francisco Bay Area to join a Technicolor Company as its Creative Director, designing video advertising and content for some of the biggest corporations out there. After 8 years, Kit realized that while the opportunities for career growth were numerous, he was ready to claim a quieter kind of life, so he returned to his roots, moving to Nevada County and starting Riparian Studios with a vision of providing top-notch creative services to the local community.
