Kit Kohler, Founder
Kit's career has run the gamut, from directing commercials for Neutrogena to strategic branding and marketing work for a hot sauce company. Graduating with a B.S. in Digital Video Technology, he cut his teeth during the summer as an intern and learned the art of storytelling from fantastic producers as a segment video editor at a CBS13/CW31 in Sacramento. When big city opportunity called in San Francisco, Kit answered, working his way from a writer/producer up to Creative Director guiding the creation of marketing and advertising messaging for some of the biggest corporate clients in the world. In 2015, Kit struck out on his own to focus on providing clients big and small with access to top-notch marketing, creative direction and video production services.
Val Camp, Cinematographer
Riparian Studio’s go-to cinematographer, Val is a filmmaker and photographer with 20+ years of film production experience in the Los Angeles and San Francisco Bay Area working on feature films, commercials, music videos, and corporate and independent films. Now situated in the Nevada City area, he has been working locally for the past 7 years as a product photographer and video producer for AJA Video Systems in Grass Valley. His current list of clients includes Microsoft and Ford, and he is proud to work locally with Sierra Harvest.
